General Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, shared this Thursday (19) details about recent American military actions in Iran, including the weapons used, emphasizing that the US continues to “hunt and destroy” Iranian facilities and assets.

He also specifically mentioned weapons systems that have been used to neutralize Iranian drones and contribute to the efforts.

Here are some of the weapons that the American military has used recently and their targets, according to Caine:

  • AH-64 Apache aircraft in Iraq to attack suspected Iran-aligned militia groups and assist in efforts to shoot down Iranian drones

Caine also reported that the US is now “flying further” east into Iran and “penetrating deeper into Iranian airspace” to neutralize unilateral attack garrisons. This destroys “Iran’s ability to project power beyond its borders,” Caine added.
