The US and Israel assassinate the spokesman of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in an attack

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard reported this Friday the death of its spokesman, Brigadier General Ali Mohamad Naini, in the latest case of a senior Iranian official killed in the .

The elite military body described Naini’s death as “a treacherous terrorist act on the eve of the last day of Ramadan,” according to a statement reported by local media.

Naini was the deputy director and spokesperson of the Public Relations Office of the Revolutionary Guard. The death of the soldier comes after the deaths this week of the Minister of Intelligence, Ismail Jatib, and the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Lariyani, the most relevant political figure in the country until his death.

Third week of bombings on Tehran
