The opening of Água Hotels Terra Fria, scheduled for April 1st, now allows reservations and promises to offer visitors a unique experience in the interior of Trás-os-Montes. Located in the village of Pinela, in the municipality of Bragança, the project stands out for its suspended infinity pool, which offers a panoramic view of valleys and mountains, creating a direct connection between the architecture and the natural landscape.

According to , the sloped construction allows each element of the hotel to interact with the terrain, enhancing the mountainous surroundings.

Architecture and nature in harmony

According to the Água Hotels group, founded in 2008 and entirely Portuguese, the project aims to integrate with nature, providing well-being and tranquility to guests. The four-star unit occupies around 15 hectares and offers 84 rooms and suites, including an adults-only wing, aimed at those looking for a more reserved environment.

The offer also includes a spa, gym, restaurant, bar and wine bar, reflecting an investment of approximately R$10 million, with support from COMPETE 2030.

Gateway to Trás-os-Montes

The hotel appears as a gateway to discovering a region that is still little explored by tourists. The proximity of Albufeira do Azibo, known for its river beaches, and the Montesinho Natural Park, reinforces the proposal for contact with nature.

According to the same source, the village of Pinela has an interesting historical and natural heritage, including Pinela Castle, a rock formation shrouded in local legends, and the Ceramic Route, a circular walking route that runs through landscapes, highlighting the region’s pottery tradition and offering views of the territory.

Experience centered on well-being

The project reflects the Água Hotels group’s commitment to valuing the country’s interior, combining tourism, nature and local culture.

According to Adriano Martins, from the group’s administration, the initiative aims to showcase the tourist potential of Bragança and Trás-os-Montes, offering an authentic experience linked to the landscape and regional identity.

Currently, the group manages seven hotel units spread across the country, consolidating its presence in the Portuguese hotel sector.

Infinity pool as a viewpoint

The infinity pool at Água Hotels Terra Fria is one of the most emblematic elements of the unit, functioning as a viewpoint over the surrounding landscape and making the stay a moment of contemplation and relaxation.

Furthermore, the unit is located on Estrada Municipal 537, Castelo de Pinela, and reservations can be made from 124 euros. According to BCBM, the combination of contemporary design and integration with the natural environment is the great attraction of the new hotel, which presents itself as a refuge in the heart of Trás-os-Montes.
