It is a delicate delivery that is to be delivered on Tuesday: For the first time in human history, antiparticles are being transported by road from A to B – to prove that such transport is even possible. “We are entering completely new territory,” explained physicists Stefan Ulmer and Christian Smorra from the University of Düsseldorf, who are researching the foundations of the universe at the Cern nuclear research center in Geneva on Monday. “Nothing like this has ever been accomplished before.”
