The senator and pre-candidate for president (-RJ) stated that he is unworthy of important parties, did not pass the scrutiny of his advisor and that the PL will be more cautious in upcoming events.
The song was used by the senator at the event that marked the beginning of his pre-campaign for the Northeast, a region where he faces the greatest rejection. The lyrics say that “the center is going to fall off its horse” and that the electorate does not want a “successful third way”.
In a note sent to the Panel this Monday (23), Flávio’s press office said it disapproved of the lyrics.
“The detail of the song did not pass the scrutiny of the senator’s advisors who, if they had prior knowledge, would not agree with the lyrics. It undermines important parties for rescuing Brazil from the dirty hands of the PT. The PL will be more cautious in upcoming events”, he stated.
“The PL made the biggest political movement of recent times in Rio Grande do Norte, with the huge presence of the people of Rio Grande do Norte and political leaders from various parties”, he added.
Flávio is trying, like União Brasil, the PP and the Republicans, since Jair Bolsonaro (PL), to run for President, in December, in place of the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).
In addition to the jab at the centrão, the jingle reinforces the polarization between him and Lula (PT) by criticizing alternative candidates: “In 2026, Flávio Bolsonaro. We don’t want a third way. No more PT, don’t cry like that. In 2026, there are both sides in the parade.”
The governor of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite (PSD), and Romeu Zema (Novo), stand as alternatives to Bolsonaro’s eldest son.
The governor of Paraná, . (), announced this Monday that he will remain in the Government of Paraná until the end of his term, in December.
