Rome – Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has called for the resignation of Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè. The minister from the ranks of Meloni’s right-wing Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy) party is involved in judicial scandals. Meloni thanked Santanchè for her work since the government took office in October 2022, but she now wants the minister to resign, a government press release said.
