Rytmus’ mysterious trips to Ukraine: He finally came out with the truth! THIS is what he did there for months

Rapper Patrik Rytmus Vrbovský kept fans in suspense for many months regarding his mysterious trips to war-torn Ukraine. He always gave the inquisitors a cold shower and answered questions by saying that he would tell everything at the right moment. And now it happened. “Dear friends, I am extremely pleased to finally be able to reveal to you the next stage in my career and at the same time the reasons why I spent so much time in Ukraine last year,” he wrote on the social network.

According to his own words, Rytmus gave everything that was possible and impossible in music, his priorities gradually began to change. “First it was albums, concerts and clips, then boxing, along with that came the family, but all this time I kept one passion in my heart. I’ve had the idea of my own serial or film project in my head since 2018, but every time I started it, it fell apart on the team,” he clarified, adding that creating something similar in our conditions with a minimal vision of a business model is probably not for everyone.

“That’s why I recently decided to take it all into my own hands and create a short series, entirely directed by myself. From the first idea, dramaturgy, editing and scripts to the cast and locations,” revealed to fans.

He also explained why he chose to film at our neighbors. “I saw Ukraine as an extremely photogenic and at the same time controversial setting for shooting a story, basically any story from today,” he added.

He emphasized that there is no need to look for politics behind this, only his desire to bring the images of the time, but this time in a new way. “I want you to know that I had similar feelings when creating this project as when we started with Kontrafakt. Also, it was all based on the belief that I was creating something from scratch that could grow and leave a mark on culture.” Rytmus confessed.

He will publish the first part of the new project on Sunday at 18:00 on his YouTube channel. He also showed a preview from the series on Instagram, which was shared by his proud wife Jasmine Alagic. “I have no words for this boy,” wrote the energetic presenter and also added an eloquent bomb emoticon.

The video received thousands of likes and a large number of comments in a few hours. “Yes! I’m really looking forward to it!” wrote the Czech singer Jan Bendig. “Multitalented dude,” several commenters agreed. It’s clear from the fans’ reactions that they can’t wait for the news.
