Igarapé overflows and isolates residents of branch in rural Sena

The heavy rains that have been hitting the interior of Acre in recent days caused a stream to overflow on the Linha Seca road, in the rural area of ​​, leaving residents of the region isolated this Saturday (28).

A video sent to the newsroom shows the water level being very high, completely covering the stretch of branch and preventing the passage of vehicles and pedestrians. With the road closed, residents have no alternative but to wait for the water volume to reduce before resuming travel.

This type of occurrence is common during the rainy season in the Amazon region, when streams and rivers experience a rapid rise in water levels. In addition to the immediate disruptions, isolation also impacts the local economy, especially for rural producers who depend on roads to transport their production. Without access, many end up accumulating losses.

So far, there is no information about the intervention of teams on site. The expectation of residents is that, with the reduction of rain, the level of the stream will drop and the passage will be reestablished in the next few hours or days.
