Bezzecchi sets a record in Austin with 121st consecutive lap lead

Austin – High-flyer Marco Bezzecchi is simply unstoppable in MotoGP. The Italian celebrated his fifth Grand Prix victory in a row in Austin (Texas) and set a record in the process. With 121 uninterrupted leading laps, the Aprilia rider surpassed the record set by Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo in 2015 (103). With this success, Bezzecchi replaced his teammate Jorge Martín (Spain) at the top of the World Cup standings.
