Businessman Alfredo Cotait Neto assumes this Tuesday (31) the presidency of the São Paulo Commercial Association, with the aim of giving the entity a more political agenda.
Among the proposals he will defend is the expansion of the Simples Nacional ceiling, which he has been coordinating with the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB).
Cotait Neto is also in favor of the mixed district vote and the expansion of the proposed debate, which faces resistance among businesspeople. The new president, linked to associations, was elected by acclamation in February.
