Sinner honors F1 and MotoGP winners after title in Miami

The Miami Open title gained special meaning for Jannik Sinner this Sunday (29). After defeating Jiri Lehecka in the final, the world number 2 took advantage of the moment of celebration to pay tribute to compatriots with great achievements on the day.

Right after the decisive point, the message “Bez Kimi Italy”, in direct reference to Marco Bezzecchi and Kimi Antonelli, two rising names on the track and close to Sinner outside of tennis.

The dedication reinforces the connection with motor sport. Recently, Sinner had already mentioned Antonelli in the previous achievement, when the Italian driver achieved his first victory in Formula 1. This time, the tribute was expanded after Bezzecchi’s recent success in MotoGP.

Bezzecchi is excited by his victory in the United States Grand Prix, while Antonelli maintained his good momentum by also winning the Japanese GP.
