The atmosphere heated up among the influencers Shantal Verdelho e Camila Trianda at the end of March. It all started when Camila published a video reporting a story she heard from a teacher friend: a child, daughter of a famous couple, was experiencing episodes of incontinence at school and the parents, allegedly, did not take any action, sending the student with dirty clothes the next day.
Although Camila did not mention names, the internet “gossip center” quickly pointed to the children of Shantal and Mateus Verdelho as the protagonists of the case. The repercussion was so great that Shantal’s name started to appear in the search bar associated with the video.
Shantal’s Reaction
Known for avoiding legal conflicts on the internet, Shantal made an exception this time because it involved one of her children. In a tone of indignation, she classified the report as “completely untrue from beginning to end”.

Camila Trianda’s Defense
After the public threat, Camila Trianda returned to the networks to try to put out the fire. She denied that the video was about the Verdelho family and blamed speculation from followers for the confusion.
“I don’t say her name at any time. It’s not about her. Shantal, don’t sue. I didn’t say it was you”, Camila defended herself, claiming that the search algorithm misled the public.
So far, Shantal has not confirmed whether she has dropped the lawsuit after Camila’s public recantation, but has reiterated that she will not accept lies involving the upbringing of her children.
