A woman was rescued after getting stuck in the middle of a zipline in the Guejar Sierra area, in Granada, in southern Spain, last Saturday afternoon.
According to the Guardia Civil, the victim was suspended in the structure of the Via Ferrata de la Araña, unable to follow the route independently, which required emergency intervention.
The alert was given at around 3:15 pm local time and mobilized specialized mountain teams. The operation included elements of the Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group and the support of the air unit, which played an essential role in the safe withdrawal.
The rescue lasted around an hour and twenty minutes, ending successfully at around 4:35 pm, when the woman was removed from the scene and transported to a nearby safe area.

Two specialists from GREIM and the Granada Air Unit were activated to help her after she was blocked in the middle of the route.
