The meeting will discuss how the rise in food prices is linked to structural factors, such as environmental crises, logistical bottlenecks and social inequalities in Brazil.
After the presentations by the invited experts, there will be a moment of questions and answers to support journalists in producing reports.
With support from the Ibirapitanga Institute and ACT Promoção da Saúde, the workshop will also address the relationship between the Brazilian agricultural model and food security, the impact of extreme weather events on final consumer prices and how economic and social factors affect the Brazilian table.
To participate, you must be a journalist registered with Agência Bori. Places are limited.
