Fachin articulates approval of projects of interest to the STF – 03/31/2026 – Panel

that seek to restrict the power of the (Federal Supreme Court), the president of the Court, has guaranteed the approval of matters of interest to the Judiciary.

In six months, the minister approved the approval of four proposals. Two others are in the final stages of processing.

The package of measures includes everything from the restructuring of careers and commissioned functions in the STF, to the regulation of the Judicial Police in the (National Council of Justice).

The processing has been quick. Projects like these usually take two years to go through committees.

One of them was approved by the House in just 11 days, which creates the Department for Monitoring International Decisions at the CNJ.

Fachin has held periodic meetings with the top leadership and hearings with parliamentarians. In six months, more than 40 parliamentarians were received by the president of the STF.
