“The enemy promotes his interests as if they were news, while threatening our nation. A big mistake,” wrote the speaker of Iran’s Parliament
The President of the Parliament of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, warned this Monday, 30th, the country’s “enemies”, referring to the USA and Israel, that any attack against the Persian country will be responded to with “several” retaliatory attacks.
He also mocked the statements made by North American leaders about negotiations to end the conflict.
“The enemy promotes its interests as if it were news, while threatening our nation. A big mistake,” Ghalibaf wrote in X, adding that the Iranian people, “will make the enemy regret the aggression and regain their rights.”
Earlier, US President Donald Trump suggested that Ghalibaf was negotiating with Washington on Tehran’s behalf. The Iranian is seen by the US and Israel as the main figure to succeed Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as leader of the regime.
