US lifts sanctions against Venezuela’s interim president


Washington – The United States has lifted its sanctions against Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez. This emerges from an entry published on the US Treasury Department website on Wednesday. The administration of US President Donald Trump is working with the interim government of former Maduro ally Rodriguez. This includes, among other things, an agreement on the sale of Venezuelan oil by US companies. In addition, regulations were issued to promote US investments in the South American country.
