The sensational cloudiness of an otherwise almost perfect Artemis 2 mission has apparently been washed away: the on-board toilet – officially the “Universal Waste Management System” (UWMS) – is working perfectly again, a less than glamorous but nevertheless critical system on board. While people on Earth were still cheering about the successful launch yesterday, Reid Wiseman and his team on board the Orion space capsule were struggling with the error message “Toilet blocked” and a warning light flashed.
