Cibulková stood on the scale after weeks of hard work: I’ll tell you that I was waiting… Reality came!

Former tennis player Dominika Cibulková underwent an amazing transformation in 2024, during which she lost 23 kilograms thanks to strict discipline. Although she has become an inspiration for thousands of women, she honestly admits that she could not maintain the set pace. Challenging life circumstances a the pending divorce caused the scale to move upwards again.

The breakup of her long-term marriage with Michal Navar took its toll. Dominika Cibulková does not hide that her personal crisis was reflected in her appearance – exercise went by the wayside and a balanced diet ceased to be a priority. However, in mid-March, she decided to draw a line beyond this period. She visited nutritionist Zuzana Lišková and got on the scale to find out her true condition.

The results of the InBody measurement showed an unpleasant reality. “Five kilos up… I was 56 kilos in the summer, that was my ceiling,” she stated bluntly. She felt the increase in weight not only in numbers, but especially in everyday life. “I feel so much bigger, of course. I can’t even button up all my jeans,” she admitted in an Instagram video. She was determined to return to her original form and motivated her fans to make the same change. “Here we go,” she declared with enthusiasm. After 2 weeks, she stepped on the scale again to see if her efforts were paying off. “A peg down in two weeks. I will tell you that I was expecting a kilo and a half for sure. Lišková immediately cooled her down and explained to her that at her current weight it was a great result. “I told you right at the beginning that, first of all, it’s two weeks, that means when you add it up, it’s two kilos per month, which is absolutely ideal. You want to lose weight in a healthy way. Besides… you’re not really that heavy, so your body doesn’t have as much room as it did when you were losing weight.” explained the expert.

These words calmed the former tennis player and gave her a new desire to continue the set regimen. “Zuzka reassured me that it’s completely normal. Healthy weight loss looks like this. So ladies, if you’ve only lost one kilo after two weeks and you’ve been careful like me, you’ve been exercising like me, then we’ll probably move on.” concluded Cibulková optimistically.
