The councilor is one of the authors of the note released in December which, in reaction to measures considered authoritarian adopted by the dominant wing, led by federal deputy and former senator Heloísa Helena.
When announcing her affiliation with the PSB, Marina says that the Network’s changes “move away from the principles and values that have guided its political activities until now, weakening dialogue and generating insecurity about the party’s direction.”
The invitation for the councilor to join the PSB was made by the federal deputy (SP) and the São Paulo state deputy Caio França. The movement also follows that of state deputy Marina Helou, of whom she is an ally. Marina should compete for a state deputy seat this year.
