This Sunday was Easter mass in the United Kingdom, with the usual presence of the royal family. King Charles, Queen Camilla and the eldest son and heir to the throne, Prince William, were present.
As usual, the ceremony took place in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. When they left the chapel, the king and queen greeted people and wished them a Happy Easter.
The king’s brother, André Mountbatten-Windsor, recently involved in legal issues due to his links to the Jeffrey Epstein case, was absent from the ceremony, as were his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and his daughters, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, despite having been present the previous year.
Easter mass is an important moment in the calendar of Charles III, who holds the position of supreme governor of the Church of England.
