Innsbruck – WSG Tirol celebrated an important victory in the relegation battle of the Bundesliga on Saturday. After an early shock, the Tyroleans defeated the struggling WAC 3:1 (0:1) in the 25th round. Jessic Ngankam gave the Carinthians the lead (9th). Valentino Müller from the penalty spot, Ademola Ola-Adebomi (77th) and Moritz Wels (94th) turned the game in favor of the WSG. The lead over bottom team Blau-Weiß Linz grew to eight points.
