In a meeting scheduled for this Tuesday (7), the president is expected to issue a note in defense of Juliana Brizola’s () pre-candidacy for the government of Rio Grande do Sul.
Although the state directory continues to defend its own candidacy with Edegar Pretto, the national understanding of the party as a message of reciprocity. The pedetistas are supporting the PT in other states, and will also be in Lula’s coalition.
A possible intervention in the state is not ruled out, but the president of the party, Edinho Silva, wants to avoid the most drastic measure. Later this Tuesday, he should meet with members of the state directory after the Executive meeting.
