The ÖFB team player gave Sporting Braga the lead in the 1-1 home draw against Betis Sevilla on Wednesday in the quarter-final first leg with a remarkable hit with his heel from close range into the near corner after a low corner in the 5th minute. The 30-year-old was also the goalscorer in the 4-0 win in the second leg of the round of 16 against Ferencvaros Budapest.
