The social networks WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are facing a period of instability this Wednesday afternoon (8)around 1 pm (Brasília time), according to data from the Downdetector platform.
Records in Downdetector related to the incident rose from 22 at 12:30 pm to 1500 at around 1:40 pm. Instagram registered an increase of 3600% in a period of 1 and a half hours; and Facebook, 930%.
In publications on X, formerly Twitter, users registered their complaints about the lack of services, citing that it hindered their work tasks.
A CNN Brazil contacted Meta, which did not provide feedback on the causes of the problem and measures to stabilize services.
