New OMV boss: Emma Delaney is due to start on September 1st

The Austrian energy company OMV could have a woman at the top of the company for the first time. The nomination committee had proposed BP manager Emma Delaney as the new CEO and successor to Alfred Stern, the company announced on Friday in Vienna. The Irish woman should take over the office on September 1, 2026. A three-year contract is planned, which can be extended by mutual agreement for a further two years. The supervisory board still has to approve the personnel at its next meeting.
