Netanyahu also says that “Spain repeatedly opposes Israel”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this Friday that he expelled Spain from the Civil-Military Coordination Center created in the country as part of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan, which served as the basis for the ceasefire in Gaza, writes Al Jazeera.
“Israel will not remain silent in the face of those who attack us. Spain has defamed our heroes, the soldiers of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the soldiers of the most moral army in the world,” said Netanyahu. “Therefore, today I gave instructions to withdraw Spain’s representatives from the coordination center in Kiryat Gat, after Spain has repeatedly chosen to oppose Israel.”
“I am not willing to tolerate this hypocrisy and hostility. I do not intend to allow any country to wage diplomatic war against us without paying an immediate price.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
