Iranians in Lisbon call for…resumption of war

Dozens of Iranians gathered this Saturday in front of the US embassy in Lisbon to call for the resumption of the war… until there is a real regime change in Iran.

On the day negotiations began between Tehran and Washington, in Pakistan, Iranians in Lisbon called for the resumption of war.

Around 50 Iranians from various regions of the country came together to convey to the United States that the current Iranian regime will continue to be a threat to the people, admitting the possibility of the continuation of the war as long as the end of the Islamic Republic.

The United States and Iran agreed to a fragile two-week ceasefire on Tuesday and sent delegations to Pakistan for negotiations that take place over the weekend.

Iranian media announced, early this Saturday afternoon, the start of negotiations to put an end to the war between Iran and the USA taking place in Pakistan – mediator of peace efforts.

US began unblocking the Strait of Hormuz

Also this Saturday Donald Trump stated that the US has started to unblock the Strait of Hormuzagain accusing several countries of not doing enough to guarantee the security of this important waterway blocked by Iran.

“We are now beginning the process to clear the Strait of Hormuz as a favor to countries around the world, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and many others”, wrote US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform.

The US president also accused those countries of “unbelievably”, not having “the courage or the will to do the work themselves”.

According to the North American portal Axios, citing a US official, several US Navy ships transited the Strait of Hormuz this Saturday, in an operation aimed at giving confidence to commercial ships to also try to navigate through the strait.

According to AFP, a senior Iranian military officialquoted by state television, denied the Axios report.

Donald Trump also attacked the media, which, according to him, claim that Iran is winning the war against the United States, “when in reality everyone knows they are losing, and losing badly”.

“The only thing in their favor is the threat that a ship could ‘hit’ one of their naval mines” in the strait, he acknowledged, while asserting that “all 28 of their mine ships are on the seabed” since the US attacks.
