Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, declared this Sunday (April 12, 2026) that the country will continue to mediate negotiations between the United States and Iran. The 2 countries left the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, on Saturday (April 11) to put an end to the war in the Middle East.

The American vice president (Republican Party) told journalists that Iran did not accept the US terms. He stated that the frustrated negotiation is “bad news even worse for Iran than for the US”. “We make it very clear what our limits are, what we are willing to give in to and what we are not”he declared.

Vance also says the US wants a commitment that Iran will not seek a new nuclear weapon. “The fact is we need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon and that they will not seek the tools that would allow them to obtain it quickly.”said the North American vice president.
