Vienna – Due to delays, the Ministry of Economic Affairs will open the application portal for the industrial electricity bonus on Monday, regardless of the EU’s pending state aid approval. Economics and Energy Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (ÖVP) called for binding deadlines for future EU decisions. The bonus is intended to relieve the burden on energy-intensive companies in Austria.
