Linz – With a show of force, the Austrian handball players secured their ticket to the 2026 European Championships on Sunday. In the sixth and final qualifying game, the ÖHB women secured second place in the group in Linz with a 38:16 (22:6) win against outsiders Greece. The team of ÖHB team boss Monique Tijsterman confidently qualified for the finals in December in Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey.
