Donald Trump deleted from the internet, after several criticisms, an image generated by artificial intelligence in which he appeared in the role of Jesus Christ. The photograph was published shortly after the exchange of accusations with Pope Leo XIV. Trump refuses to apologize.
A which has since been deleted, generated controversy and much criticism, with accusations of blasphemy and requests for it to be eliminated by many, even conservative Christians who usually support Donald Trump.
The photograph, created with artificial intelligence, had been shared by the American president on the Truth social network.
Trump appeared dressed in white and with a red cloak over his back, as if trying to cure a sick person and surrounded by military personnel and workers.
There was also an allusion to war. The image was shared shortly after the exchange of accusations with the Pope.
Over the weekend, Leo XIV said that the attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran are fueled by a delusion of omnipotence.
Donald Trump, in response, said he is not a fan of the Pope and that Leo XIV is weak, terrible at foreign policy and that he is only leader of the Catholic Church because Trump is in charge of the White House.
He assures that he does not apologize and that he is just reacting to the comments.
Last month, the Pope had already, without naming names, said that those who start wars have their hands stained with blood and maintain the call for peace.
Leo XIV is the first Pope born in the United States of America. Opposition to Donald Trump’s policies began in 2015.
In May of last year, he was still a cardinal, when he severely criticized the Trump administration, at the time, over North American migration policy and the deportation of immigrants.
