Trump: “It won’t be pleasant” for Iran if ceasefire ends without agreement

United States President Donald Trump said on Monday (13) that if an agreement is not reached with Iran to end the war by the end of the ceasefire, “it will not be pleasant for them.”

A reporter asked the president if he maintains the threat that “an entire civilization will die” if the two-week ceasefire ends without an agreement.

“I don’t want to comment on it, but it won’t be pleasant for them. Let’s put it that way,” Trump responded.

Last week, Trump announced that he had agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran, hours before the deadline he himself had set.

However, over the weekend, peace talks in Pakistan collapsed. US Vice President JD Vance stated that Iran would not commit to giving up its nuclear weapons.

Before the pause in fighting, Trump also threatened to destroy Iran’s nuclear plants and said that “it doesn’t matter to me” if both sides reach a deal.
