Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has given up for his second round match at the ATP500 tournament in Barcelona against Czech Tomas Machac. The reason for this is an injury to the right wrist, sustained on Tuesday in the 6:4, 6:2 opening win against the Finnish Otto Virtanen. Alcaraz, a two-time Barcelona title holder, played this game just two days after losing the Monte Carlo final to South Tyrolean Jannik Sinner. The next tour stop for Alcaraz would be Madrid.
