Washington/Vatican City – US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth draws comparisons between the enemies of the Christian savior Jesus and critical journalists. At a press conference at the Pentagon on Thursday about the US and Israel’s war against Iran, he compared journalists to the Pharisees, the Jewish opponents of Jesus Christ. Like them, the media sought to destroy him, Hegseth said. He was referring to the “established, Trump-hating press.”
