Low-cost airline Ryanair is threatening to cut its flight offerings from Vienna

Vienna/Dublin – Europe’s largest low-cost airline Ryanair is increasing the pressure on the government and Vienna Airport to reduce the costs of flight operations. In particular, the air traffic tax of 12 euros is a thorn in the side of Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary. “We once again call on Chancellor (Christian) Stocker and Transport Minister (Peter) Hanke to abandon their failed high-tax policy,” said O’Leary on Tuesday in Vienna.
