Vienna – Vienna’s mayor Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) has presented a series of demands in advance of a round of health reform scheduled for Thursday. Ludwig is known to be an opponent of the model being promoted by some federal states of handing over hospital responsibility to the federal government. But he is now making people sit up and take notice with his desire to create a nationwide service and salary system for hospitals.
