‘There is a flagrant violation of the ceasefire’, says President of Iran’s Parliament

The President of Iran’s Parliament, Mohammad Ghalibaf, stated this Thursday (23) that a complete ceasefire only makes sense “if it is not violated by the maritime siege and the hijacking of the world economy”. In a publication in X, he also highlighted that the total truce requires that the “belligerence of the Zionists” on all fronts be interrupted.

“The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is not possible with a flagrant violation of the ceasefire,” he added in the post.

Without making it clear whether it was about the US or Israel, Ghalibaf said that the enemies did not achieve their objectives through military aggression and will not achieve their objectives through intimidation. “The only way is to accept the rights of the Iranian nation,” he concluded.
