Eleven professional and 25 volunteer firefighters with 14 pieces of equipment intervened on Thursday (April 23) afternoon during a forest fire in the cadastre of the Orlové district of Pavažskobystrica. The Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) in Trenčín informed about it on the social network.
The fire was reported at about 5:00 p.m., the forest was burning on an area of about 300 square meters, due to the wind it spread to an area of up to 12,000 square meters. To intervene, members of the HaZZ from Považská Bystrica, Púchov, Trenčín and the Rescue Brigade of the HaZZ in Žilina were sent to intervene.
