After financial compensation, the amounts were transferred to numerous accounts, which received millionaire contributions and were quickly emptied to make tracking difficult”, highlights PCPR delegate Ricardo Casanova.
In another recent operation, the police found a “safe house” in the Sítio Cercado neighborhood, in the capital of Paraná, seizing R$493,879 in cash, banknote counting machines and portions of crack, cocaine and marijuana.
In addition to trafficking, the investigation shows that the group is related to , among them is the death of a leader of a rival criminal organization and his son.
“Since 2024, we have verified several occurrences of crimes against life in the neighborhood. The investigations of each of them showed us that the motivations were, specifically, a dispute between two groups that aimed to control criminal activity in that region. From this mapping, we identified the need to expand the investigation beyond the Homicide Police Station and we began exchanging information with Denarc and the Military Police intelligence”, explains PCPR delegate Ivo Viana.
