Rome – The Italian antitrust authorities have started investigations against the Thermomix manufacturer Vorwerk. The German company is accused of unfair business practices because of the shutdown of cloud services for its discontinued vacuum robot Neato, the authority announced on Thursday. Vorwerk discontinued the robot’s smart services and thereby removed essential functions, making the device practically unusable.
