Lienz – A 34-year-old with impaired health apparently stabbed his 52-year-old carer several times with a knife on his upper body with a knife on Friday afternoon in his apartment in Lienz, East Tyrol, causing life-threatening injuries. A witness who rushed to the scene because of the victim’s cries for help was able to knock the knife out of the man’s hand and set the rescue chain in motion. The 52-year-old underwent emergency surgery in Lienz Hospital and was now out of danger.
