Slovak presenter Adela Vinczeová (45) she entertained her audience a funny incident from the train trip from Olomouc, where she was mistaken for a well-known Czech top model in the dining car. When she noticed the fixed gaze of the waitress, at first she thought with pride that they recognize her in the Czech Republic even years after the broadcast of the SuperStar singing competition.
However, the payment situation led her astray. When she wanted to leave a tip to the train employee, she got a surprising reply that she could have kept the money for her foundation. “So I say, for what foundation? And she is so offended: ‘So you are, or are you not Tereza Maxová?'” Vincze recalled with a laugh. Coincidentally, Maxová (54), who was a guest on Adele’s show, heard this story directly in the studio.
To the surprise of everyone present, the model admitted with a smile that the exact same situation had already happened to her, but in the opposite direction – people mistook her for a Slovak. “I swear to God, it happened to me too. It was at the airport or somewhere, I don’t know anymore. Those are the prominent noses,” the Czech added jokingly, thus confirming that the visual resemblance between the two famous faces can sometimes really confuse the public.
V earlier Vincze revealed how she once got into the modeling world. “In high school, when I was about 15-16 years old, we were watching the history film Stalingrad, and there was someone sawing off someone’s leg alive. I said to myself: ‘Lord God, somehow get me out of this.’ Suddenly Mrs. Daria, who is a girl scout, appeared there and pointed to two or three babies, including me.” explained the moderator. Subsequently, she had to undergo modeling training.
This experience pleased not only her, but also her mother, because at that time, according to her own words, she looked like Kurt Cobain, walked in flannel shirts and wore Canadians. “I learned to walk in heels and take care of myself a little,” she added.
After about two years, she was signed up for a casting in the Elite Model Look competition and even though the final night did not go according to her expectations, she was not lost in the world of show business. Unlike the competing model and Miss Andrea Verešová, she finally chose a different path and became a seasoned presenter.
“I quickly assessed my modeling qualities, although I was an interesting type, I don’t have the height or other parameters that would make me stand out in Paris. After that, I was on about two castings where you wait the whole day before they cancel you. So I say to myself:Go to the kale! I will not spend my life like this,'” Vincze finished the story about this stage of her life in the past.
