Bodybuilder Josué Fabiano Monteiro, also known as Gorila Albino, won his third Arnold Clsssic South America title in the Wheelchair category on Saturday night (25).
“I’m very happy. I want, first of all, to thank God (…) I just have to thank, I wish everyone who was here watching a lot of happiness”, said the athlete from São Paulo in an interview with the column.
In addition to the 2026 edition, he had already won the tournament in 2023 and 2025.
Today’s victory guaranteed the bodybuilder a place in this year’s Olympia. “Brazil is arriving with everything (…) We are, once again, at Olympia and, God willing, we will leave there with another trophy. The expectation for the end of the year is to be world champion”, he concludes.
Also called the Arnold Classic Brasil, the championship in question takes place within the Arnold Sports Festival South America, the largest multi-sport event in Latin America.
