On Monday morning, the party leaders were informed again about the status of the budget negotiations in the coalition. It is up to Chancellor Christian Stocker (ÖVP), Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler (SPÖ) and Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (Neos) to close the bag and actually make an agreement based on the latest results. This would probably still have to be agreed upon by the respective parties. The prospect of announcing this agreement was planned for late afternoon. But it’s not fixed yet.
