Vienna – 16 million euros were found in two lockers in Liechtenstein that belong to the Ingbe Foundation, writes Crown newspaper. Of this, 14 million are in gold bars, the rest in dollars and francs in cash. This was also confirmed by the APA. Although the Ingbe Foundation received its money from Signa founder and bankrupt René Benko, the beneficiaries are Benko’s family members, especially his mother Ingeborg Benko, after whom the foundation is named. It is therefore uncertain whether the money will ultimately benefit René Benko’s insolvency estate.
