Revolutionary idea in England: Brighton & Hove Albion wants to be the first football club in Europe to build its own stadium for its women’s team. As the “Seagulls” announced on Tuesday, the new stadium will have a minimum capacity of 10,000 seats, will be built on Bennett’s Field directly next to the men’s stadium and will be opened by the start of the 2030/31 season at the latest – subject to building permits. According to media reports, it will cost up to 92 million euros.
