Hot news from the White House: Trump promises to return astronauts to the moon during his term

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has a chance to return astronauts to the surface of the moon before the end of its term in 2029. He also announced that his administration plans to release as much information as possible about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the near future, AFP and Reuters reported.

Trump made the announcement in the Oval Office of the White House, where he was receiving four Artemis 2 astronauts who recently returned from a flight around the moon. During the mission, these astronauts were the first people ever to see the far side of the moon with their own eyes.

When asked if NASA will have time to prepare the return of humans to the moon by the end of his second term, Trump replied that “we don’t like to say for sure”, but according to him, NASA has a “decent chance”. Regarding the plans to release the UFO documents, Trump said that he thought some of them would be very interesting.
