BC liquidates Frente Corretora for violations of regulations and financial crisis

Institution based in São Paulo had low participation in the foreign exchange market and will have its controllers’ assets blocked

This Thursday (April 30, 2026), the Central Bank carried out the extrajudicial liquidation of ., based in São Paulo (SP). According to the monetary authority, the measure was adopted due to the compromise of the institution’s economic and financial situation and serious violations of legal norms.

With the decision, the assets of the broker’s controllers and former administrators become unavailable. The asset blockade is part of the extrajudicial liquidation process conducted by the Central Bank.

The Broker Front was included in segment S4 of prudential regulation. In the BC’s exchange rate ranking, it ranked 78th, considering operations carried out in 2025.

According to the Central Bank, the institution had low representation in the National Financial System. Last year, it accounted for 0.021% of the financial volume and 0.054% of the number of operations carried out in the system.

The BC did not detail which rules were breached nor did it inform the value of the blocked assets. The municipality stated that it will continue with investigations to identify responsibilities, which could result in administrative sanctions and communications to other competent bodies.
