The major US technology companies are reaping further rewards from their AI commitments. Google parent Alphabet, online retailer Amazon, Facebook operator Meta and software company Microsoft presented surprisingly strong quarterly results on Wednesday. This allayed fears that the high investments in new data centers would not pay off.
